Koroit Opal Garnet Turtle Ring

$0.00

Turtles have been major influences in mythology and origin stories for hundreds of years. They are one of the oldest symbols to represent the Earth. One of my favourite origin stories comes from the Seneca Haudenosaunee (Iroquois). When Mother Sky fell, the great Turtle rose from the waters to break her fall.

This Turtle Totem ring features a magical flashy koroit opal from Queensland, Australia. This stone is set in a gold fill bezel. The turtle is all hand sawed, stamped, and polished smooth. His beady inquisitive eyes are made of 4mm faceted garnet gemstones. The silver has been patina darkened and sanded in places for maximum contrast. Perfect for a totem or talisman piece, and all turtle lovers. This design is Navajo inspired.

Measurements:

This ring will fit a US size 7-7.25, and cannot be resized. Turtle is roughly 2" tall. Ring band is a slight taper at 1/2" in back.

As always comes sweetly packaged in a jewelry box ready for gift giving.
